The Huntington County Master Gardeners will host an Open Class Horticulture Show during the Huntington County 4-H Fair on Sunday, July 26. This event is open to all Huntington County residents and provides an opportunity for participants to showcase their gardening creativity and skills.

Entries may be submitted in the following categories:

  • Succulent or Succulent Garden
  • Planters (Indoor or Outdoor)
  • Wreaths (Dried or Living)
  • Fresh Cut Bouquet
  • Fairy Garden

Participants may enter as individuals or as teams and are welcome to submit entries in multiple categories.

Two divisions are available:

  • Junior/Senior Team Division (18 years of age and under partnered with 19 years of age and older)
  • Senior Division (19 years of age and older)

Completed registration forms must be submitted to the Purdue Extension – Huntington County Office or emailed to pape1@purdue.edu no later than July 15.

Entries should be delivered between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. on the day of the show. Judging will begin at 4 p.m. in the Poultry Tent at the Huntington County Fairgrounds, located at 631 E. Taylor Street, Huntington.

There is no entry fee to participate. Thanks to the support of local sponsors, prizes and ribbons will be awarded to winning entries.

Printed registration forms and show guidelines are also available at the Purdue Extension Huntington County Office, located at 1340 S. Jefferson Street, Huntington.
