Shown above, second from the right, is Ken Hack as he receives a recognition plaque from the Huntington Lions Club honoring his exceptional work ethic on the LaFontaine Center project. In addition to the plaque, Hack was presented with several gift cards to local businesses. Pictured with Hack, from left, are Steve Kimmel of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce, Gerald Smelser of the Huntington Lions Club, Hack, and Richard Wymer of the Huntington Lions Club.
Ken Hack is being recognized by the Huntington Lions Club for the exceptional work ethic he demonstrates each day as an employee of the LaFontaine Center. Ken consistently exemplifies the attitude, skills and professionalism that every employer values in an employee.
His supervisor, fellow employees and the residents of the senior living center describe him as trustworthy, respectful and dependable. He approaches both his work and his interactions with others with kindness and courtesy, never complaining about his workload or treatment. Those who know him appreciate his ability to treat everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of differing beliefs, opinions, or attitudes.
“Ken is highly dependable and consistently completes tasks in a timely and efficient manner. He takes initiative by recognizing what needs to be done and beginning projects without being asked. In addition, he willingly assists coworkers who may be struggling with a task or project, often offering help before it is requested. He is open to learning new skills and approaches his work with both confidence and good judgment,” said the management of the Center.
Ken is also highly skilled in the use of a wide variety of hand and power tools. He is eager to learn how to operate unfamiliar tools or equipment and takes pride in maintaining the tools and machinery he uses, ensuring they remain in excellent working condition.
In recognition of Mr. Hack’s outstanding dedication and contributions to his workplace, the Huntington Lions Club is proud to present him with this plaque of appreciation. In addition, we are pleased to provide a gift certificate for a dinner for two at Applebee’s, a pedicure from Aura, and a deluxe car service from West Park Oil.
