“Building Stronger Boards” workshop October 1

Join Purdue Extension in Huntington for a day-long “Building Stronger Boards” workshop designed for community members seeking to enhance their effectiveness in nonprofit board roles and responsibilities.

Through a series of interactive discussions and activities, participants will build their knowledge, skills and connections with others in the local nonprofit community.

Whether you have just joined your first nonprofit board or have years of experience serving your community, this workshop will introduce you to some of the leading best practices in board management.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (registration begins at 8:30 a.m.) at Cafe of Hope, 900 E. State Street, on Thursday, October 1. Through a Community Vitality grant, Purdue Extension will offer this workshop at a reduced rate of $25 per participant (includes lunch and all materials). Space is limited. Registration will close once the class is filled, and a waitlist will be started.
