Christmas in the City
Saturday, November 28, 2026
Downtown Huntington will officially usher in the holiday season on Saturday, November 28, with the annual Christmas in the City celebration. From 3 to 5:30 p.m., children and families are invited to enjoy an afternoon filled with festive activities, entertainment and holiday traditions throughout downtown Huntington.
Activities will include horse-drawn wagon rides provided by Sentimental Journey, train rides, games, community photo opportunities and a special visit with Santa at the Courthouse. The celebration will also feature a Christmas tree lighting at Rotary Centennial Park, where Santa and Mrs. Claus will join the community in welcoming the holiday season.
With activities taking place at various locations throughout the downtown area, there will be plenty of opportunities for families to enjoy the festivities together. Downtown stores and restaurants will also be open, providing visitors with an opportunity to shop locally and enjoy a meal or treat while celebrating the season.
Mark your calendars and join us for Christmas in the City! All activities are free and open to the public.
