YMCA offering specials beginning January 2

Beginning January 2, community members are invited to take advantage of savings on the joiner’s fee at the Parkview Huntington Family YMCA. As many individuals focus on New Year’s resolutions, the YMCA offers an excellent opportunity to begin or renew a fitness journey through its annual “Pay the Day” promotion, available through January 31.

During this promotion, individuals who are new to the YMCA can save on the standard joiner’s fee (normally $75) by paying a fee equal to the calendar day on which they join. For example, members who join on January 2, will pay only $2, while those joining on January 3 will pay $3, and so on throughout the month. The earlier one joins, the greater the savings. Following enrollment, standard monthly membership rates will apply.

New YMCA members are also offered a complimentary wellness coaching session and one free personal training session, if desired. Membership includes access to a wide variety of community and educational opportunities, such as monthly Lunch & Learn programs at no additional cost. YMCA members also receive discounted rates on programs including swim lessons, dance, sports, music, camps and more. For families participating in multiple programs, YMCA membership often provides significant overall savings. The YMCA offers programs and activities for individuals of all ages and abilities.

In recent years, the Parkview Huntington Family YMCA has undergone several facility improvements. Outdoor courts and enhancements were completed in 2023, and fitness center upgrades – including the addition of new equipment – were completed in fall 2024.

Financial assistance is available year-round for those who qualify and wish to apply for scholarship support toward monthly membership fees.
