Parkview Huntington Family YMCA offers a variety of programs for youth and adults. The programs offered are open to both Y members and community members.

The following fall 2023 programs are open for registration:

  • Soccer: Registration closes July 23 for the fall six game season which kicks off August 12 for ages three through eighth grade.
  • Dance: Fall dance classes begin August 14 and conclude with a winter recital on December 9. Dance sessions this fall include the following lessons: ballet, character, clogging, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, modern, and tap. Depending on the class, sessions are open to ages 3½ through high school.
  • Music: Music lessons begin August 21 and will conclude with a winter recital in early December. Music lessons are for all ages, children through adults, and classes include guitar, piano, violin, cello and voice.
  • Volleyball: The fall intramural volleyball league runs August 23 until October 7 offering leagues for kids in grades third through fifth or grades sixth through eighth.
  • Running Club: Fall run sessions are for children ages six through 12 and begin August 14 and continue through September 28.
  • Preschool: Fall preschool sessions are offered both at the Huntington YMCA location and also at Roanoke Seminary United Methodist Church in Roanoke. Between the two sites classes are available in both the morning and afternoon sessions for children ages two through five years.
  • Before and After School Care is offered at Roanoke Seminary United Methodist Church site for children in grades kindergarten through grade eight. Children attending Huntington County Community School Corporation will have transportation available to and from Roanoke Elementary School or Crestview Middle School for both the before and after school program at Roanoke.
  • After school for Middle School program is offered at the Huntington YMCA site for grades sixth through eighth. Kids can come to the Y to participate in structured activities on the Y campus. 
  • Gymnastics sessions are for children beginning at age 3½. The fall session will span September 14 through December 14 with registration beginning August 17. 

Financial assistance is available for Y programming and memberships. Community members should inquire about joining the Y to learn more about discounted rates for the respective programming in which they are interested.
