New Life Meal Ministry still serving needs

The New Life Community Meal Ministry is the first ministry of New Life Ministries, and it has been serving the community of Huntington since 2007.

This holiday season New Life Ministries is excited to celebrate with the community by hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner at the New Life Community Meal Ministry. This meal will be on Wednesday, November 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. For this special dinner the ministry will be offering both dine-in or carry-out meals.

The menu for the night will be turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans and pumpkin pie. They will be allowing a maximum of four meals per person to allow for individuals to get meals to take back to their family, especially for those who may be homebound.

The ministry is excited to celebrate this holiday season with the community. and cannot wait to serve the desires of those in need of these meals.

Do not forget that the ministry offers free meals 365 days a year also. These meals are open to all. The ministry is grateful to be able to offer free lunches Mondays to Fridays from 12 noon to 1 p.m., free dinners Mondays to Fridays from 6 to 7 p.m. and free dinners Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 6 p.m. At this time our regular meals are dine-in only.

If anyone is interested in helping serve or donate towards supporting the New Life Community Meal Ministry, they would love to speak with you about their needs. They serve the community through this ministry, but it takes the community to help make this possible. They are always looking for volunteers, food donations and monetary donations to continue to offer free meals.
