Two John Deere dealer groups are joining forces later this summer. TTG Equipment of Bluffton and Huntington, along with Kenn-Feld Group of Van Wert, Ohio, said Wednesday that the companies will merge as equals on August 21. The combined company will be rebranded as TRULAND Equipment.

“This partnership was a several-year process, and we really took our time to make sure this was a good fit for our two companies as well as for our customers,” Kenn-Feld Group CEO Tom Burenga said in the release. “By combining our experience and capabilities, we are building a strong organization that is better positioned to thrive while offering an expanded product portfolio to our customers.”

The merger brings together 18 John Deere locations across Indiana and Ohio. A spokesperson for the company told Inside INdiana Business there are no plans to transfer staff between the two companies’ existing headquarters.

TTG Equipment CEO Jameson Ringger called the move a win. “We are two local companies joining together into one local company,” Ringger said in a press release.

Ringger went on to say, “While the name on the sign will change, the team will not. We are dedicated to cultivating lasting relationships with our customers, providing new opportunities for our employees and investing in our communities.”

More information about TRULAND Equipment is available on the company’s new website at trulandequip.com.
