Get set to laugh when comedy comes to Wabash with two live shows in early August at Honeywell Arts & Entertainment venues. The Karens bring their family-friendly humor to Eagles Theatre on August 4 and “Saturday Night Live” alum Jim Breuer performs his popular standup on August 6 at the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater. An Evening of Comedy with the Karens – Thursday, August 4, 7:30 p.m., Eagles Theatre Lots of laughter will be on the bill when comedians Karen Mills and Karen Morgan entertain with their own brand of family-friendly humor in this show sponsored by Pizza King of Wabash. Unlike those other insolent “Karens” you may read about in the news, the Karens promise an evening of zero toxic behavior and plenty of clever and intelligent humor. Karen Mills, a former All American basketball player and Ovarian cancer survivor, can be heard daily on SiriusXM comedy channels. Karen Morgan, a former trial attorney, began her comedy career as a finalist on Nick at Nite’s “Search for the Funniest Mom.” Her comedy special, “Go Dawgs,” airs on Dry Bar Comedy. Tickets are $15 and $25.

Jim Breuer – Saturday, August 6, 7:30 p.m., Honeywell Center Freewheeling comic storyteller Jim Breuer brings his “Freedom of Laughter Tour” to the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater. After a stint as a “Saturday Night Live” regular in the late 90s, Breuer became a successful touring comedian, a regular on “The Howard Stern Show” and has been named to Comedy Central’s “100 Greatest Standups of All Time” list.
