The “Chamber Celebrating 100 Years,” is the theme of Huntington’s 60th Heritage Days, Wednesday, June 12 through Sunday, June 16. Heartland REMC will be the corporate sponsor of the festivities surrounding Heritage Days 2024.

The aim of Heartland Rural Electric Membership Corporation is to make electric energy available to its members at the lowest cost consistent with sound economy and good management. As a not-for-profit electric cooperative, their consumers are members – they are owned by those they serve. Heartland REMC, as a cooperative, is responsible first to its members.

Heartland REMC serves parts of nine counties – Wabash, Wells, Huntington, part of southwest Allen, and fringe areas of Miami, Kosciusko, Whitley, Grant, and Adams counties. The cooperative had its beginnings in 1936. The Chamber thanks Heartland REMC for their sponsorship.

The official button for Heritage Days 2024 commemorates the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce’s 100 years of service to the community. The official colors of Heritage Days 2024 are teal and gold.

Heritage Days are coordinated by a steering committee of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce. For more information contact the Chamber at (260) 356-5300 or email skimmel@huntington-chamber.com
