Performances by award-winning Christian recording artist Mark Schultz, rock and roll act Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters and Honeywell Arts Academy musicians are set for June when Honeywell Arts & Entertainment presents weekly live shows at Eagles Theatre. Mark Schultz – Thursday, June 2, 7:30 p.m.Dove Award-winning artist Mark Schultz has sold more than 2 million albums, enjoyed 13 No. 1 singles, including “He’s My Son,” “Letters from War” and ‘Walking Her Home,” and has earned a spot as one of Christian music’s top male vocalists. Schultz is a world class performer, inspiring and uplifting audiences across the globe. Most seats are $29 and $39, with limited premium seating available for $60.

Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters with special guest Brett Wiscons – Thursday, June 9, 7:30 p.m.The Boxmasters, founded by actor Billy Bob Thornton and J.D. Andrew, brings its “2022 Help … I’m Alive” Tour to Eagles Theatre, performing a diverse catalog of music inspired by the likes of the Beatles, the Byrds, Kris Kristofferson, John Prine and Big Star.

Through the years, the band has developed a cult fan base, opening for the likes of ZZ Top, Steve Miller, George Thorogood and Kid Rock. The Boxmasters has headlined its own shows at legendary venues across North America, including Knuckleheads in Kansas City, Boondocks in Springfield, Illinois, Merrimack Hall in Huntsville, Alabama, and performing on The Grand Ole Opry.

Singer Brett Wiscons is a special guest for the show, which is welcomed by 105.9 The Bash & 101.9 Rocks and sponsored by Brandt’s Heating & Cooling. Most seats are $29, $39, and $49, with limited premium seating available for $79.

Honeywell Arts Academy Performances – A series of three shows, two in June on Friday, June 17, and Friday, June 24; a third on Friday, July 1. All shows start at 7:30 p.m.Honeywell Arts Academy is comprised of three, full-scholarship institutes for emerging musicians. Each week-long institute takes place at Eagles Theatre and culminates in a live performance featuring participants and faculty.

Resonance Institute musicians will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 17, following their weeklong intensive study resulting in music comprised of both pristine technical training possessed by classical musicians and cross-genre fluidity. Faculty mentors Peter Dugan, Nick Kendall, Ranaan Meyer and Charles Yang (Time for Three) will lead the musicians in an indescribable musical experience. Tickets are $25 per person with general admission seating. A public reception follows in the Eagles Ballroom.

Musicians from the Soundboard Institute will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 24. Directed by faculty mentors Matti Raekaillo and Peter Dugan, international pianists will play jazz, funk and other musical styles. Tickets are $25 per person with general admission seating. The performance will be followed by a public reception in the Eagles Ballroom.

In its 15th year as a Wabash summer music staple, Wabass Institute musicians will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 1. Prepare to be dazzled by the agility each fellowship scholar brings to the double bass, led by faculty mentors Eric Larson, Ranaan Meyer and Hal Robinson. Tickets are $25 per person with general admission seating. A public reception will follow in the Eagles Ballroom.
