The event was attended by a strong representation of Culver’s corporate team, local staff, Chamber board members, Chamber Ambassadors and restaurant management and employees, all of whom joined in the ceremonial ribbon cutting. The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce extends its appreciation to owner David Meacham, center, with scissors, and the Culver’s of Huntington team for the opportunity to celebrate the opening of their new restaurant in the community.

Culver’s of Huntington officially marked its opening with a ceremonial ribbon cutting hosted by the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce on Monday, April 20. The restaurant is located at 2703 Guilford Street, on the site of the former Kmart.

Owner David Meacham welcomed guests to the new location, expressing his appreciation for the strong community support. He noted that the restaurant’s opening exceeded expectations, and shared his enthusiasm for becoming more involved in the Huntington community.

According to the Culver’s of Huntington marketing team, “The opening has been incredibly successful and very exciting for both our team and the community. On opening day, the restaurant achieved the fifth-highest opening day in Culver’s history, which reflects both the enthusiasm in the Huntington area and the strong execution by our team.”

During its first week of operation, the restaurant served nearly 9,000 orders – significantly surpassing typical projections. “Given this strong start, we are already exploring opportunities to expand our team and add staff to maintain excellent service and meet ongoing demand,” the marketing team added.

The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce extends a warm welcome to Meacham and the entire Culver’s team. The Chamber also expressed its appreciation for their investment in the community and their decision to establish their newest location in Huntington.
