Chamber grateful for successful Heritage Days

Huntington Heritage Days 2025 were a major success thanks to the many dedicated volunteers who so generously gave of their time, talent and resources. The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce staff would like to say how much we appreciate the time given this year.

Thank you to Heartland REMC for sponsoring Heritage Days and making the celebration possible for all to enjoy. Even though the celebration was worked around rain showers, events still took place successfully.

Thanks to the administration of the City of Huntington for all their help, and the County of Huntington to include the County Commissioners for the use of the County Annex where the carnival workers camped for the week, and the use of their Gators. We appreciate the city street department, city and county police, Disaster Team and EMA for keeping everyone safe. Special thanks to Terry Miller and Boy Scout Troop #130 along with several scout leaders for their help with clean up.

Special thanks to Brenda Holzinger and Danny Stoffel of H&H Disposal for their use of four dumpsters during all of the activities. Thank you to those who made the activities possible including the Little Miss Pageant organizers, Chief’s Breakfast and Rotary Strawberry Feed volunteers, car show organizers, parade volunteers, Women of the Moose, Izaak Walton, Hot Air Balloon organizer Chris Smart and his pilots and JeFFFest organizers and volunteers.

The Chamber of Commerce thanks all the people in the community who supported the many activities that were included in this year’s Heritage Days events. Thank you to Greenbear Photography for all the great photos of the events. Thanks to everyone who visited the carnival and enjoyed the rides and food.
