The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce will celebrate 100 years of service to the community March 20, 2024. In honor of this milestone, Heritage Days 2024 will take place Wednesday, June 12 through Sunday, June 16, and focus on the contributions the Chamber has made to the community.

“Chamber Celebrating 100 Years” is the theme of Heritage Days. Activities will include the annual parade that will take place Saturday, June 15 beginning at 10 a.m. The Chamber’s 100-year history can be carried through on parade entries in the form of representations of the events that took place or individuals who have contributed to the success of our community over the years. Float building is encouraged to bring the Chamber’s contributions to our heritage to life!

Activities that will also be a part of this year’s Heritage Days festivities include the traditional Chief of the Flint Springs Tribe breakfast Thursday morning, June 13, and the annual Rotary Strawberry Feed on Thursday evening. The MetroNet Car, Truck, Bike and Motorcycle Show will take place on Friday evening, June 14 in downtown Huntington from 5 to 9 p.m.

Saturday afternoon following the parade will bring The Huntington County Disaster Team 19th Annual Car & Truck Show at Huntington North High School from 3 to 7 p.m. The Kids Zone, full of children’s activities, which will include bounce houses, free pony rides, games provided by the library and more will be located also at the high school from 5 to 8 p.m. The Hot Air Balloon Festival and balloon glow will be a part of the celebration from 5 to 10 p.m.

JeFFFest will take place on Sunday evening, June 16, on Franklin Street across from the Courthouse completing the Heritage Days festivities.

Poor Jack Amusements will provide the midway and carnival rides for 2024. Rides and activities will be located in the Cherry Street area from Wednesday, June 12 through Sunday, June 16. Streets involved with the carnival will close on Monday, June 10 at 3 p.m. to allow for set-up.
