Chamber announces new A.B.O.V.E. Award

The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce the A.B.O.V.E. Award – Achievement Beyond Ordinary Values & Excellence – a new quarterly recognition program celebrating employees who consistently go above and beyond in their workplace.

Beginning in October, the Chamber will recognize one outstanding employee each quarter, with awards presented in January, April, July and October. This award is designed to honor individuals whose dedication, work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence make a lasting impact on their business, coworkers, customers, and the Huntington County community.

The Chamber invites all member businesses to nominate deserving employees by submitting one or two paragraphs explaining why their nominee exemplifies Achievement Beyond Ordinary Values & Excellence. Nominations should highlight specific examples of exceptional service, leadership, innovation, teamwork, or other contributions that set the employee apart.

An independent panel of judges will review all nominations and select one recipient each quarter. The A.B.O.V.E. Award winner will be recognized by the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce and will receive a commemorative plaque along with gifts provided by the Chamber and participating local businesses.

The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce believes that recognizing outstanding employees strengthens our business community and celebrates the individuals whose daily efforts make Huntington County a better place to live, work, and do business.

Businesses are encouraged to begin identifying employees who embody the spirit of the A.B.O.V.E. Award and submit their nominations for the inaugural October recognition by September 18 by emailing skimmel@huntington-chamber.com.
