Constitution Day 2026
Wednesday, September 16 & Thursday, September 17, 2026
Constitution Day activities will begin on Wednesday, September 16, with a special presentation featuring historical reenactors portraying Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant. The program will take place at Zurcher Auditorium on the campus of Huntington University. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m., with the presentation beginning at 7 p.m.
On Thursday, September 17, the historical reenactors will continue their educational outreach by presenting programs to all fifth-grade students in the Huntington County Community Schools.
That evening, the Huntington County History and Education Center, located at 315 Court Street, will host a special presentation featuring Peter Grady portraying Union Army General and later President Ulysses S. Grant. The program will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available during and following the presentation.
