Rolling Into Roanoke, northeast Indiana’s premiere car show, will be back for the twelfth year in 2025. Since rain and storms were in the forecast for July 26, the event was postponed to Saturday, August 2. The car show will be held in downtown Roanoke and in the Roanoke Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to chairman of the board, Rick Fischer.

“Rolling Into Roanoke is more than just a car show. This event typically has 500-plus show cars and spectators from Indiana and surrounding states join in on their one-of-a-kind fun, with its own unique vibe as those attending celebrate the historic, picturesque Village of Roanoke. The event is also a fundraiser to support the beneficiaries who share their vision of supporting automotive education/history, first responders, veterans and the youth of Allen, DeKalb and Huntington counties. There is nothing quite like this event in all of Indiana,” says the website.

The website goes on to state, “Rolling Into Roanoke is a memory-lane/block-party mashup that brings families and friends together to a one-of-a-kind community offering its Hallmark-esque welcome to a soundtrack of shared stories and DJ-spun tunes. Each year has its own unique energy … from cars of any era, make and model, to special features like Futurliner #10, the Batmobile, Indy race car selfie station and this year’s theme of Air-Cooled Classic Tribute. There’s nothing like it in all of Indiana!”

“Without question, Rolling Into Roanoke is the premier automotive event show in our area,” stated Michael Barney, general manager at SweetCars, Fort Wayne, and vice president of the board of directors for Rolling Into Roanoke.

Since their first car show in 2014, Rolling Into Roanoke has donated over $200,000 to the beneficiaries of the show. Some of the beneficiaries include the Roanoke Beautification Foundation, Roanoke Police and Fire Departments, Roanoke Parks Department, Roanoke Fireworks, Roanoke Fall Festival, Roanoke Youth Sports, HARTA, Huntington County Disaster Team, Huntington Show Choir, Indiana State Troopers, Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, National Auto and Truck Museum to name just a few of the beneficiaries.

“The mission of Rolling Into Roanoke is ‘Driven to Make a Difference:’ we’re dedicated to fueling the future of automotive education and preservation, revitalizing our communities through improvements and wellness projects, and supporting first responders and families. Through our passion to support communities and beneficiaries, we’re steering toward a brighter, healthier and safer tomorrow.”

Their vision is to “Support their sponsors, participants, spectators, beneficiaries, vendors, virtual community and Roanoke itself – they want to provide the most fun, auto-rich, slice-of-Americana day all summer. The rest of the year we’re driven to keep the vibe alive by sharing Rolling Into Roanoke updates, outstanding area events (especially in Roanoke), car history and news.

Rolling Into Roanoke is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to fueling the future of automotive education and preservation, revitalizing their communities through improvements and wellness projects, and supporting first responders and families.
