Outstanding! Wow, Beautiful! Fun and colorful! This was the response of many visitors who viewed the work of Carole Holmes Gordon on display at the Arts Included Gallery in Huntington.

Gordon’s exhibit, opening on September 30, saw a full gallery of guests mingling, discussing and admiring her work on display. Many also took the opportunity to meet the artist and discover the inspiration and motivation behind her art – an exciting and unique experience for Huntington, to be sure.

“What a wonderful evening. The Carole Holmes Gordon exhibit was gorgeous and thoughtfully displayed. The gallery space is a very cool, repurposed historic structure and a real gem in downtown Huntington. Kudos to the Art Center staff,” said Kevin Rice, Art Center patron.

Multiple works have already sold, so don’t miss your chance at the perfect conversation piece for your home. The work of Carole Holmes Gordon is available to be enjoyed in the gallery through November 26. The Arts Included Gallery at the Huntington Arts & Entrepreneurial Center (HAEC) is open Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Weekend hours are Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. for guests to view the exhibit.

For the last month of Gordon’s exhibit, they have a contest going for children. They have a fun Art Scavenger Hunt that will take individuals around the gallery to discover the details of selected art pieces. Bring the littles to partake in their Art Scavenger hunt for the chance for your child to win a prize of free admission to an age-appropriate workshop in 2023.
