Who Benefits from ReStore?

"The ReStore is an exciting venture for the Huntington County Habitat" said Steve Miller, Executive Director of Habitat. "It is an opportunity to increase our presence and impact in Huntington County by offering the community an alternative to sending quality usable items to the landfill. Research has shown that every $1.00 sold diverts 1.38 pounds from the landfill."
The ReStore is a partnership with the Wabash County, Whitley County and Huntington County Habitat for Humanity operations. It will provide a continual diverse stream for the ReStore. Donations may be dropped off at the ReStore any time they are open. Pick-up for larger items may be arranged by calling the ReStore staff during business hours at (60) 356-8002.
Too volunteer for the ReStore or for Habitat you may call the Habitat Office at (260) 356-7425. Even if you do not like construction, the ReStore may be the place for you said Miller.
