Kathleen Randolph, President and CEO of WorkOne and Brook Steed, Business Consultant with WorkOne recently met with some Huntington Chamber Members to explain some of the services and features that are offered by WorkOne. WorkOne Northeast is a public-private organization that operates the WorkOne Centers in Northeast Indiana.  Those WorkOne Centers offer State employment services to the citizens and businesses of Indiana.

Among the services offered to Employers are: The Work Keys Employment System, Customized Recruitment, Customized Employee Training, On the Job Training Scholarship,  Paid Internships, Training Grants, Skill Gap Referrals and several other services. Along with the Indiana Economic Development Commission, WorkOne helps bring new jobs and new businesses to Indiana.  WorkOne still offers the typical services that could be found at the old State Unemployment Offices, but those services are now available at any WorkOne Office, including the one at Flaxmill Road at US 24, Huntington.
