The Indiana Department of Workforce Development (IDWD) is committed to developing a workforce that meets the demands of Indiana's increasingly global economy.  To achieve this, IDWD supports and facilitates programs that align skills of students and Hoosier workers with the needs and demands of Indiana employers. 

WorkEthic certification is an innovative initiative designed to facilitate connections among our emerging workforce and employers to build skills for long-term success. 

Through the WorkEthic certicfication, employers can evaluate work readiness of potential employees to ensure employees have the "soft skills" for success.  Students are rewarded and recognizes for achievement of standards. Additional information can be viewed on IDWD website.   

Employers can join the already 300 businesses who support the WorkEthic Certification program by completing the Employer Intent to Participate form.
