On Friday, March 13, 2009 UTEC celebrated winning the 2008 Top 10 Best Plants in North America.  Indiana Secretary of Commerce Mitchell Roob was on hand to offer his congratulations as the highly coveted award was unveiled.

UTEC Director of Operations Joel Jarabek said the award is mainly the result of the hard work and dedication of the plant's emplouees.
