At a little after 10:00am, December 19, 2008; Becky Gerhart, President of the Huntington Wells Fargo Bank, cut the red ribbon that signified the grand opening of the combined services office. The new store located at 2720 Guilford Street combines two previous locations into a modern one floor service center. Personal banking, commercial banking, safe deposit boxes and investment services are all available here.

The new location is located close to the old "north" location of Wells Fargo in the Owens North Shopping Center. The show piece of the store is a huge mural that is located above the teller services area. The new location also has state of the art drive up facilities that utilize monitors so that the customer may see and talk with the tellers. When not talking to the teller, the monitors default to a pre-set cable news channel. In addition to housing the Huntington facility, the new office is also the home office for Andy Yergler, district manager for Wells Fargo.
