The Huntington City-Township-Markle Public Library is looking to grow. The facility located on West Market Street is going to expand without the local tax payers contributing anything more to the project. The expansion will increase the area for youth services, increase the on-line component and help provide a more energy efficient HVAC plant.

More than 100 people attended the ground breakng including children from several local child care facilities that regularly use the Library. After turning the sand the crowd was invited back into the Library for some light refreshments and more importantly, story time conducted by Librarians Jan Perkins and Kay Stein.
