Schenkel Dairy has been a long time Chamber member.  Starting as a the family owned farm and dairy operation, Schenkel's became Indiana's largest family owned dairy. In 2001 they were purchased with the Schenkel family remaining in management. Eventually the family has phased out of day to day management as Schenkel's has become part of Dean Foods, the world's largest dairy operator. However, even with all the assests and expertice of Dean Foods, the "flavor" of the operation has not changed. Schenkel's still cares about their home. They still contribute to the community and still support corporate citizenship.
