What did you do to honor those who make you a success?
On April 23 from 11 - 1, over 100 Chamber members helped to celebrate Administrative Professional Day by taking their staff to a gourmet lunch at Huntington University. The fete started with a salad bar, assorted cold salads, cheese, fruit, and vegetables then an entree of Beef Burgundy Tips and noodles, or grilled chicken breast strips with grilled vegetables, Mediterranean Cod, wild rice pilaf, fresh steamed broccoli spears with cheddar cheese sauce on the side, and bread baskets. Then for desert there were choices of Angel Food Cake with both sweetened & unsweetened fruit, assorted homemade cheesecakes, Key Lime Pie, and Weigh-watchers Key Lime Pie, and assorted gourmet layer cakes.
Dorothy's Hallmark Gold Crown Store once again provided a complimentary gift to those who attend. Also, there were several door prizes, including a beautiful grand prize, diamond and sapphire necklace that was won by Ms Esther Johnson of UT Electronic Controls. Center piece flowers were provided by Jim Schreiber, Edward Jones. Dining music was provided by pianist extraordinary Richard Prange.
